Silent Hand Language
For more than twenty years, Catalin N. has photographed the hand gestures that pass unnoticed within the movement of the city.
Working exclusively in black and white, his images form an ongoing archive of silent hand gestures and human signs observed within urban movement—fleeting gestures detached from identity and narrative.
Observed in public space and isolated from their original context, these fragments of human presence reveal an alternative language embedded within everyday urban life.
